[Fanfic] Red West I. OST

Dear RW readers... (and anyone else who might be interested... ^_^)

Already for some time I was wondering if I should share this with you or not.
In the end I decided that it would be a shame if you had been deprived of it (especially after I received a very positive reaction from my quality-beta for anything aka seiko22).

During writing of Red West, I got this idea about creation of some kind of soundtrack for it (got inspired by another AKame-fanfics writer, I admit m^_^m).
Some of them took me long hours to pick, but there are also the ones, at which I was sure they fit the story perfectly right away.

So, in case you´d like to know what I usually listen to while I am doing the self-beta-reading recently, here is the link for download:

The list of the songs, which I´ve used for this little OST, along with the source and credits, follows in the cut.
But anyway, I recommend to listen to it without knowing the original source first, your imagination will work better that way, I suppose. ;)

I just listened to the whole OST. Though I would prefer to listen to it while reading I was still able to remember a lot of scenes from RW. The songs are really fitting! <3 There are 2 tracks I like a little more than the rest but it's probably because they fit my taste a little better, haha. :)
Anyway, I can't wait for "Red West II"! Somehow, during this break between part one and two, I decided it's one of 'epic' fics for me - the one that I remember quite well, love to go back to it and that are REALLY original when you look at many other works. There's not so many fics on my 'epic' list but "Red West" is on top of it. :)
It's just my opinion. I like original fics. There's a lot of fics I love but the original ones are stuck in my mind with details and that's what makes them 'epic' (since I rarely remember authors and titles of fics XD)

Unfortunately, I finished this OST only after RW I. was already done. m^_^m But anyway, you can use it for re-reading! :D

I´m curious - which two songs do you mean? Would you mind to tell me? ^^

Btw, while I was doing this, I particularly searched for the songs, which are not of my usual musical taste... Exactly because I wanted them to fit the story. It would have been strange not to use country style and similar.

As for RW II.
Well, it´s seems that you can expect it to appear VERY soon. :D

I will re-read it one day for sure. Maybe in summer when I won't have my summer break. :)
You're right country style fits the story but my favorite tracks are #2 (Shaman's flute) and #8 (No Justice) though #9 (Two Spirits) was good too. #4 was also nice in a little different way. :)
I'm not into country much so I mostly like the 'different' ones. My favorite is still Shaman's flute XD I like flutes for some time now.
I don't think you will disappoint me - the fic is too remarkable to be bad. :)

Seems we share the same attitude to this kind of music.
