[Nihon vacation] Towards one dream
Oct. 21st, 2014 08:12 pmFriday 26th of September… The first day of KAT-TUN´s ´come Here´ concerts in Tokyo.
This was my first thought after I woke up that morning. The fact, that we had no idea, whether we would even have a chance to get there or not, didn´t matter. I was getting ready for some concert without having a ticket in advance (which was somehow my life premiere :D) and I was nervous and excited at the same time...

On that day the weather was really nice to us. We were so glad to see the bright sunshine from our room´s window, because we planned to go to the Tokyo Skytree – the tallest structure in Japan. It took us only 20 minutes of a pleasant walk from our hotel to get there. And for the second time in our lives, we let ourselves to be carried up by the incredibly fast elevator.
In the daylight, the view wasn´t any less stunning than two years ago, when we visited this tower in the evening. I am always totally lost on words, seeing such scenery from a great height. For a foreigner from a small village it really is a BREATHTAKING THING to witness. We could even see the moody Fuji-san in the distance, hidden in the clouds partially, but still clear enough on our photos.
I loved it up there and it was definitely worth of money spent for the ticket.
After we left that awesome tower, we used Metro to get back to Asakusa and grabbed something for lunch, which I somehow managed to eat up even though my stomach was already kind of clenched about our upcoming trip to Harajuku. We wanted to get there soon; a little naïve to think we might be able to avoid the biggest queue for the concert goods...
We found Yoyogi National Stadium without any big problems. Just following the girls with the blue bags was enough, as every third of them had ´come Here´ over her shoulder. :D Already from the distance, we could see the advertising trucks with our dear boys… And then our jaws kind of dropped on the pavement.
The concert was supposed to start at 18:00 and we were there around 13:00. And the queue for the goods was VERY LONG by that time already, plus the square was flooded by the cheerful (and damn hot) sun. We gave up on it right away, just hoping something would be left right before the concert starts.
Instead, we went to Johnny´s Shop, which was very interesting experience too. XDWhy the hell Arashi had so much space there?? ´:D And of course, I couldn´t help but buy a few photos. ^^´ Kame mostly. We also enjoyed sweet pancakes on Takeshita Street and then we took A LOT OF trucks pictures. :D

The next part of our mission was the tickets purchase…
I can tell you it was neither easy nor cheap. The whole procedure seemed like a drug transaction, and I´m not kidding. >..< Anyway, the most important thing was, that all three of us (me, my sis and our friend Jana) managed to buy them in the end (it was about 16:30 o´clock, I think). Then we noticed that the queue for the goods basically disappeared :D, so we comfortably got our Kame´s uchiwa´s and waited for the gates opening.
After we made sure that the tickets were real, I got so excited that I didn´t mind anything what bothered me till then. Including the stares from the crowd of Japanese fangirls. I guess you can imagine, what three female gaijins caused at the square in front of the stadium, which was over packed with Asian fans. But as I already knew that we can expect many surprised, shocked(or even killing) stares, I didn´t give a damn.
On the other side, no wonder they stared… When I spotted us in the mirror while standing a queue for the toilets, we were there like a sore thumb. XD
We also came across one foreign fangirl!! I think she was French? (Jani, can you remind me, please?) living in Tokyo. It´s such a shame we couldn´t talk with her more…
The rest of this special day deserves a special post. ^^
