[Fanfic] Red West Anniversary

It´s really hard for me to believe it has been so long already, but just today, on 10th February, my beloved AKame AU fanfiction has its 1st anniversary. Exactly one year ago I posted Prologue on this LJ, and it was just for fun, because I thought it was a nice idea and I wanted to ´practice´ my English a little. I didn´t really think that it will have any big success. And it turned out that I caught your - my dear readers - attention and it didn´t end with that. After a few chapters I realized that there are people who actually really like RW and wait for each new chapter. And just like that, before I could notice it, from originally planned 15 chapters became 20 and now it is already for sure there will be more than 30 of them. And even that will not mean the final ending of Jin-cowboy-and-Kame-bartender-story, I guess. ^^
It has already been a year, and I still love writing it, now even more than before, when I see that new readers keep appearing, and when I read your comments. From the start I was doing it mainly for myself, as an escape from the reality, and to express my never-ending affection to AKame, and even though it didn´t change since then, now I´m doing it also for all of you.
My huge THANK YOU belongs to everyone who gave RW the chance and started reading, and you have my gratitude for each comment you posted. I always look forward to your reactions excited, sometimes even nervous, and each of them gives me a push to keep writing even in the moments when I think I don´t have any energy left for it.
Some things changed, some remained the same, either in my own life or in case of KAT-TUN or Jin. And it was not always some happy stuff... But it has been a good writing year for me and I´m happy I could ´meet´ you all thanks to Red West, some of you even in person. ^^
Maybe the idea of some anniversary gift came up on your mind, but in this I have to disappoint you. I will do my best with the next chapter to post it on Friday, but not sooner. But I know you will wait for it, right? m^_^m
But at least, I can give you a small info in advance... Only exceptionally. XD The next (already the 29th!!! o_O) chapter will be called ´Bonds´, it will be more than 5000 words long and I´m quite sure you will like it much more than the recent ones. ^^
And as for RW in general... For now I´m planning to write 35 chapters plus Epilogue. But the number of chapters has been gradually rising for some time now, so it´s probably not the final number. So if (and that´s a huge IF) I keep the pace of posting, you can expect the ending in April at the latest... What will come next, that will not depend only on me. ^^

See! Just as I've told you, you are already near the chapter numbers of kokoro. :D I have the strong intuition that you will beat me pretty soon :P :'D which is not bad at all.
I've never thought I would enjoy reading a cowboy-Indian akame story this much lol, but you created a unique piece of sweetness. I also love to see how you develop your writing with each and every chapter. You did a great job! Thank you dear! I hope in the future when one day this story comes to its end you will have another brilliant in your mind that can stir up the world of au akamefics :)

I was expecting that you will remind me our old discussion, dear. ^^
But when I realized that I´m already so close to the number of Kokoro chapters I was really surprised! You should write mooore~
*pleading puppy eyes*
But even if I beat you in this, Kokoro will still remain my ideal and inspiration. *^_^*
And I´ve never hoped that you and also the others will enjoy this kind of story that much. It is mainly based on my weak spot for Vinnetou movies and westerns are not so popular in general. But I´m so glad I didn´t let myself to be discouraged by that and I started writing this. And also, I´m so happy that especially you like this so much. *͜*
Oh, I have to admit that even I can see that my writing skills have changed and hopefully improved. XD When I read back what style of writing I have had before, especially in No More series case, it was much more careful, with smaller vocabulary and... I don´t know how to put it... It was convulsive? Now I´m somehow used to writing in English, I´m able to make my mind think in English and it is visible in RW too, even though there are still some mistakes and things, which I´d like to improve more. But I´m really flattered by your praise, thank you, Heatie!
I hope so, too... I´m far from being willing to leave the world of AKame fanfics... ;)

I will not say anything more about the future development in the story, but I can say that I´ve already thought out the ending of RW fully...
I started working on re-reading and self-betaying of the next chapter yesterday and this phase usually takes me twice as much time than the first draft, but I still keep my hopes up that update will be prepared on time. ^^
