[transfer entry] Manga was the second one

Next one in my list of articles I don´t want to delete... This time about manga... ^_^
Konnichiwa!
You´ve learned something about my anime inception, so I guess I should write about my beginnings with manga, too. It started with simple comparison. I wanted to know what the differencies between Naruto anime and manga are. Then I found out that manga is much further in the story than anime... So I read and read and reached the actual end.
I´ve unpatiently been waiting for next new chapter every week since then. I always get upset, when I find out, that there is some another holiday in Japan, so Shonen Jump (weekly magazine in which Naruto is published) is postponed to next week. And dear God, there are so many days off in Japan! Said my envy... - this hasn´t changed a bit since the time I wrote it and those breaks are still upseting me!! XD
Basically, you can follow the story much faster with anime, but manga definitely has its charm. Not only that you can take the story exactly in a way, which mangaka (author) meant, but also you can fill the gaps between images with your imagination and you can study every single one into the most little details. For example I love to do this in case of Vampire Knight. I do like the way how Matsuri Hino creates her characters and how she is addicted to drawing detailed eyes, which can express wide range of emotions. There´s no time for it during watching anime.

Moreover, so far I´ve noticed a few cases in which anime was different from manga – there was something misssing. Usually only insignificant details, but exactly these details are something what makes the story of manga THE STORY. And in many cases some things have much deeper impact on me in manga than in anime.
Japanese animes are great, of course. With dubbing, music and favourite characters in the cool moves. :D But I´m staying faithful to manga, too.
My manga recommendations:
Vampire Knight (I had to mention this one more time, I´m a vampire addict, and especially Zero addict), Naruto (what else?), Rurouni Kenshin (great story), Angel Sanctuary (awesome love story, I found out that not all angels are so angelic, as they seem to be), Jiraishin (really impressive and cruel), Black Cat (funny, exciting, you will love three main characters)
I remembered that I did not recommend any anime in last article, so I will remedy it now.
My anime recommendations:
Naruto (necessity for each otaku), Wolf´s Rain (WARNING: awesome, but sad and depressing story with horrible ending), Death Note (I just love this, in all three versions of the story – manga, anime, movies - both Kira and L are the best), Monster (impressive, although I didn´t like ending much…), Hellsing (suprisingly, it was sometimes very funny… :D), Seirei no Moribito (great fantasy), Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (best anime I´ve seen so far)
That´s it for today...
