[KAT-TUN] My Top 10 Chart(s)

It has been a long time since I started to write this post (it was in August, I think…). It somehow stuck in my computer only half-prepared and I just wasn´t able to finish it (from many many reasons). But finally! I could do it, and I´m proud of myself.   ^^´

Spin-chan ( spinelie), who now belongs to my ´thanks-LJ-for-letting-me-know-about-these-Hyphens´ Friends, was at the beginning of this idea, as she made this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFIta22AhOs) lovely video about her KAT-TUN Top 10…
I was thinking about doing something like this when the Anniversary Album was released and I´ve found out that Hyphens chose some songs, which I would not include into the Best OF (as Bounce Girl, or Shunkanshuuto) myself. It made me wonder if I´m able to do some selection at all. Because at first, when I tried to think about my favorite songs, I realized there would be at least Top 30 chart from them. I thought that I´m just not able to do it, because… you know… I love all their songs. XD
But following Spin-chan´s example, I decided to be harsh on myself and chose "really" only ten. Though, I cheated a little in the end…
I couldn´t do only one chart, so there are TWO of them. The first one includes only 6-nin songs and the second chart is for 5- and 4-nin songs.

I love KAT-TUN music in general and many of their songs are really… special for me, even though I do not consider them to be especially great as comes to music or lyrics, so I wasn´t able to choose a proper order for them. Therefore, they´re aligned according to the date of release or the sequence at the album. So, it doesn´t mean that REAL FACE mentioned as the first is my favorite. XD
Also, I´d like to mention that NO solos and NO special compilations (as Kizuna, Butterfly or Monster Night) are considered in those charts. I´d have to make a third one for those. XD

Let me know what your favorite KAT-TUN songs are, if you like, or make a chart on your own. It was not easy (IT WAS HELL TO PICK SO FEW, DAMN IT), but it was really a fun to do it. And it´s a good reminder of everything what our dear Captains accomplished so far.

KAT-TUN 6-nin

1.   REAL FACE - this one was easy, their debut single is simply awesome even years after
2.   GOLD - because of “Don´t you wanna see it when we make it worldwide?”
3.   PRECIOUS ONE - hell, I don´t need any special reason to include this one
4.   YOROKOBI NO UTA - because Jin was back and that happy atmosphere about that fact in the related PV is just… *sobs*
5.   TABOO - because of QoP live opening
6.   HELL NO - because Jin and Kame at QoP live brought me chills as they´re trying to “over-sing” the other
7.   RESCUE - because there´s no PV where they would be more kakkoi
8.   WATER DANCE - because I love the rhythm, I love the lyrics, I love their performance of it at BtR live… you get the point, right?
9.   NEIRO - because it´s the last final ballad they sang together, even along with the whole Dome
10.   ON MY MIND - because there´s no song more beautiful or more sad in their repertoire

KAT-TUN 5-nin and 4-nin

1.   NMP - because of the unusual orchestra beginning and because of THOSE LYRICS
2.   ULTIMATE WHEELS - because of that ´shadows thing´ in PV
3.   SILENCE - because it´s the first one I´ve ever heard from them
4.   KUSABI - because of the PV, and it´s the first one of 4-nin
5.   PHOENIX - because they are one
6.   COME HERE - because it´s incredibly catchy and it always makes my heart beat stronger since the live
7.   HIDE AND SEEK - because the live version of it gives me the creeps even now
8.   FEATHERS - because it´s quite rockish and unusual for their style
9.   UNLOCK - because it´s for Kaitou Yamaneko drama
10.   GREATEST JOURNEY - because it makes me smile every time I hear it


Desperate note: And now tell me where the hell should I include Bokura no Machi de? And why TWILIGHT, BLACK, CRAZY LOVE, WHITE X-MAS or BIRTH couldn´t squeeze in there somewhere?!
Ok, I rather shut up already... XD

About 6-, 5- and 4-nin... In a way, KAT-TUN still means 6 members for me, so...

Awww, we really have very similar preferences... I´m still upset I couldn´t include also MOON and LOVE. -_- And STEPS TO LOVE! At the time it was released I was really IN LOVE with that song. 10 spots is just too little...

Don´t worry about cheating, I enjoyed your list a lot. ^^v

PPS: I wonder if I should make a special Top10 chart for Jin... That should be a little easier, shouldn´t it? XD

PPS: Well I probably wouldn´t be able to do that :D I don´t know much songs from time he went solo :D
Just maybe Eternal, Test Drive, Sun burns Down, Mi amor , Hey what´s up, Summer Kinda love and Choo choo shitain :D sorry -_-ˇ.... but If I could add solos from KAT-TUN time then I should be able to do it :D

Well, I do follow Jin quite A LOT. XD
I´m really happy for him that he was able to walk his own path and came up with his style. His songs are quite specific and I love many of them.
But no need to be sorry about that, dear, not everybody must like everything. For example, I do not follow INKT much. ;)

Well I listened to the first album they had :D but that´s all so :D

I dont know, with Jin I still feel kinda heartbroken so .....but If I stumble over his song (mostly main songs with MV) I like it :)
but I would like to go to his concert :D so maybe some day I will be more into him :D
